With Christmas upon us I thought it just fitting to discuss the genuine significance of Christmas, a festival of the introduction of Jesus Christ. While we do every one of the things we do amid this Christmas season to praise, we should keep our attention on what the genuine purpose behind the season is. It is not about improving the tree, shopping and wrapping presents, family social affairs, preparing treats, or whatever else that we do to command, it is about HIM!

Dear Heavenly Father,
Much obliged to You for this record from Matthew about the virgin birth of Your Son, JESUS. Much obliged to You for sending Him to the earth to be our Savior. As we observe Christmas, help us to keep our attention on the genuine purpose behind the season. We cherish You, LORD. In Jesus' name, we implore. So be it
